Getting Personal:

November was not a super busy month for me. I mostly went to work, where I listened to a lot of audiobooks. I did try out Pure Barre with my friend Taylor…that was a humbling experience 😂

The biggest thing I did this month was taking a week-long trip to Texas for Thanksgiving. We normally are only there for a few days, so being able to spend a whole week there was nice. I got to see friends from high school that I haven’t seen in a long while, as well as my voice teacher (who I took voice lessons from for all of middle school through high school, and a bit beyond that). We did ThanksChristgivingmas and exchanged all of our Christmas gifts and had Thanksgiving dinner on the same day. All in all, it was a very fun trip.

The other thing we did this month was finally get all of our adoption paperwork notarized. We are now all set to move on to the next big step in the process, which is a big weight off my back. I will be so happy when we get all of this done. We are hoping to have everything submitted to China by the end of the year, or the very beginning of 2019 at the latest. Exciting!

My December TBR Pile:

TBRDecember2018

My Plain Jane by The Lady Janies

After the Rain by Jane Lorenzini

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare

Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones

Again, these are my goal books, but I might not get to all of them. I am super excited for Queen of Air and Darkness though! I have pre-ordered the audiobook and cannot wait!

How many books did you read this month? Have you read any of the books I read? What about the books on my TBR for December? Let me know down in the comments!

Love and happy reading,

That’s so awesome you read that many books! I’m a bit of a slower reader so I tend to only read a book every other month or so. In November I finished reading the sequel to You by Caroline Kepnes. The TV Series adaptation on Lifetime was perfectly done!

I really want to read the Hocus Pocus sequel. That’s so cool that this book happened, loved the movie! I’ve heard about The Night Circus. I haven’t read it yet, but it sounds interesting.

Currently reading To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. Read about 81 pages so far, and it’s really good so far!

    1. I’ve always been a fairly fast reader, but since I discovered audiobooks, my number each month has gone through the roof!
I haven’t read anything by Caroline Kepnes. What book would you suggest starting with?
I read the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before series recently! I hope you enjoy it.

As far as I know she’s written You and its sequel called Hidden Bodies. I think her latest book is called Providence. I am waiting for the paperback, but it hasn’t come out yet. Hope to read that this year though. She’s a really great author though.

    1. I liked it pretty well. I really enjoy history and true crime so I found it very interesting. There were a few points that I got a little bit bored, but I feel like that was largely because I don’t read a ton of non-fiction. I’m trying to branch out and get out of my comfort zone more.
