Getting Personal:

Here are a few things that happened in my life this month:

  • The biggest thing to happen this month was that I went to Japan!! I have been anticipating this trip for months, so it was so exciting to finally get to do the actual traveling! I had a whole blog series that I posted in prep for this trip (check out my Travel series!) – and don’t worry, I will be doing a post or two about the trip itself soon!
  • My daughter had several medical appointments that will start her on some new therapies and a potential new medicine soon.
  • My husband is dealing with a chronic medical issue – I would appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers for his recovery!

My July TBR Pile:

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin

Family Lore by Elizabeth Acevedo

Untamed by Glennon Doyle

I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston

Never Ever Getting Back Together by Sophie Gonzales

  1. Omg I can’t wait to hear all about Japan. I’m going in October and it’s all I can think about. Also, I am sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he gets better. Ohh I have Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow and Family Lore on my TBR. I can’t wait to read those two.

      1. So don’t have it set yet but definitely Tokyo & Kyoto and to three of the amusement parks. So Disney Sea, Universal, and Fuji-Q Highland. I can’t wait to hear what you think of the two as well.
