WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted byย Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words! All you have to do is answer the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think youโ€™ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

thelightbetweenoceans

The Light Between Oceans is my pick for book club this month! I am at the very beginning, so I don’t really have any thoughts on it yet, but I’m excited to dive into it (shameless pun totally intended ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

ladymidnight

I finally got off of the waiting list at the library for the audio book of Lady Midnight!! I am already loving it, which is no surprise since I have loved all of the other books in this epic series.

theloveletter

I got The Love Letter from NetGalley as an e-ARC and I like it so far. I’m only a couple of chapters in, but I am already intrigued by how the past and present are going to tie together. The publication date for this is approaching quickly, so I need to get a move on with this one!

*I just realized that all of the books I’m currently reading have blue covers…I wonder if that means something…*

tokillakingdom

I absolutely loved To Kill A Kingdom! This is definitely one of my favorite books I have read so far this year! It was dark, but also funny, and it had you rooting for two characters who were trying to kill each other, which is always a fun time ๐Ÿ˜‰ย  A review for this one will be coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled for it.

thestrawberryheartsdiner

The Strawberry Hearts Diner was such a cute and heartwarming story! I listened to it on audio, and the narrator, Brittany Pressley, was great! She had the cutest southern accent, and had very different voices for all of the female characters, which eliminated any confusion as to who was speaking. If you are looking for a sweet, light, romantic book, that will also make you incredibly hungry, this is a great pick!

What do you think you’ll read next?

suitorsandsabotage

I have been so excited to read Suitors and Sabotage, and I’m hoping it will be a fun and fairly quick read. I am a huge fan of the Regency era, as well as Jane Austen, and I’ve heard this is a great marriage of Austen and mystery!

unbindingofmaryreade

The Unbinding of Mary Reade is another e-ARC I received from NetGalley. It’s publication date is fast approaching as well, so I put this next in my queue. It is going to be a NetGalley-centric next few weeks, as I have about 4 books that are all being published within the next month or so that I need to get read. This one does sound really great though, so it’s not much of a sacrifice haha

For the time being, I’m going to have to put Dragonfly in Amber on the back burner, at least until I get the majority of my NetGalley books read and reviewed. But soon!!

Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? Let me know down in the comments!

Love and happy reading,

I am about 50 pages into To Kill a Kingdom, and I am finding it fascinating so far! A dark little mermaid tale, yes please!!

thestrawberryheartsdiner

I am listening to The Strawberry Hearts Diner on audio. It is set in Texas, and the narrator has a precious Southern accent that is making me miss home a little bit ๐Ÿ˜‰

What did you recently finish reading?

talesfromshadowhunteracademy

By far, Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy was the funniest Shadowhunter book of the whole series. But that ending though!! I sort of saw it coming, but I still cried all the same!!

thehazelwood

I actually ended up really liking The Hazel Wood! My review for it will be up in a few weeks. It was a bit slow at the beginning, but once the main character really got on with her adventure, it was hard to put it down!

What do you think you’ll read next?

I need to start The Light Between Oceans ASAP, as it is my bookclub pick for this month, and I am leading the discussion on it in a few weeks! I also really want to get to Dragonfly in Amber this month…but we will see.
