There are so many awesome sounding books that are coming out this year! I wanted to make a list of the ones that I am the most excited about. There are a lot more for the beginning of the year because the second half of the year will likely be announced later. I hope you find some new books you are excited about too! I am a few weeks late on this, but I wanted to go ahead and post my yearly wrap-up for 2019! It was a crazy year for me. The vast majority of my year was focused on our adoption. After waiting for what felt like forever, we finally adopted our daughter in 2019! It has been an amazing and stressful journey, but it finally feels like we are settling down into a good routine. Other than the adoption, I spent a lot of time with family and friends, as well as some much needed time with my husband. I left my job and became a stay-at-home mom. It is officially 2020!! I kind of fell off the blogging band wagon last year (adopting a new baby can do that to a person), but I fully intend to jump back on! I might not post quite as much as I used to, but I am going to try to be more consistent.

Husband Material by Emily Belden ~ 304 pages ~ to be published 12/30/19 by Graydon House
Sometimes love is unpredictable…
Twenty-nine-year-old Charlotte Rosen has a secret: she’s a widow. Ever since the fateful day that leveled her world, Charlotte has worked hard to move forward. Great job at a hot social media analytics company? Check. Roommate with no knowledge of her past? Check. Adorable dog? Check. All the while, she’s faithfully data-crunched her way through life, calculating the probability of risk—so she can avoid it.
Yet Charlotte’s algorithms could never have predicted that her late husband’s ashes would land squarely on her doorstep five years later. Stunned but determined, Charlotte sets out to find meaning in this sudden twist of fate, even if that includes facing her perfectly coiffed, and perfectly difficult, ex-mother-in-law—and her husband’s best friend, who seems to become a fixture at her side whether she likes it or not.
But soon a shocking secret surfaces, forcing Charlotte to answer questions she never knew to ask and to consider the possibility of forgiveness. And when a chance at new love arises, she’ll have to decide once and for all whether to follow the numbers or trust her heart.
