Getting Personal:

Here are a few things that happened in my life the past couple of months:

  • We adopted a new puppy! Her name is Poppy and she is a chihuahua/terrier mix. She is so sweet, and so energetic. This is perfect, because my daughter really needs a playmate that matches her energy 😂🐶
  • Eliana and I started back to school. She is in 1st grade this year, which boggles my mind (how did she get so big?!) I am enjoying being back at work again after the summer off. There was a lot of construction over the summer, so we are in a new space, and it is finally feeling like we are truly settled in.
  • I finally had another tea party after several months of having to cancel them. It was so lovely to have so many of my favorite women around my table. 🥰
  • I joined a new book club at my local bookstore. I’m excited to connect with more bookish people that live in my area!

My October TBR Pile:

The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James

Hallowe’en Party by Agatha Christie

Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco

Dracula by Bram Stoker

Deathless Divide by Justina Ireland

The Square of Sevens by Laura Shepherd-Robinson

  1. Poppy looks adorable! Iwas interested in ‘Icebreaker’ and ‘Hello Stranger’ both of which you’ve given 4 stars. I have to get myself copies. You had a great reading month. I had a bit of a slump 😒 Also, more Poppy pics please! ☺😊😀😁😄
