Getting Personal:

Here are a few things that happened in my life this month:

  • I got to help lead worship at my church’s Women’s Event. It was such a lovely evening, and I was so honored to be asked to help lead these ladies in worship.
  • We took a family trip to Colorado to visit two of my best friends from college! It was a fantastic trip, and we got to make some really beautiful memories there 🥰
  • I got to go to a book signing for Cassandra Clare’s new book, Sword Catcher! It was exciting to get to finally meet her after so many years of reading and loving her work!
  • I finally got to attend a meet up with some other local bookish Instagrammers! We met up at a book store to do some shopping and then had dinner together. I’m hoping I can go to the next one too!
  • My daughter and I got to go to two different Trunk or Treat events together. It is so much fun getting to experience childhood again through her eyes 😍

My November TBR Pile:

When the Sea Turned to Silver by Grace Lin

Gwen & Art Are Not in Love by Lex Croucher

XOXO by Axie Oh

You and Me Forever by Francis and Lisa Chan

The Carnelian Legacy by Cheryl Koevoet

A Train to Moscow by Elena Gorokhova

      1. Blake Crouch is typically science fiction. There was a tv series adapted of his Wayward Pines novels a while back, and ‘Dark Matter’ gained popularity in the last 2-3 years (there’s a film adaptation of that too.) I went ham in Halloween with lots of horror and sci-fi. Do you have any favs in these genres?
