Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I love the weather, the clothes, the food, the festivals – it really is a magical time of year. It is also the time of year for me to pull out my more spooky reads. Now, don’t misunderstand, I’m a giant weenie. So, no horror for me! But, books with a gothic/mysterious/atmospheric edge are definitely in the game.
So, here is a list of the books that I want to read this fall!
I love music – I even majored in it in college. And I, obviously, love reading. I got to thinking about what books I have read that tie together my two loves. So, voila, here is a list of the books that I have enjoyed that revolve around music. Enjoy!
I am a huge fan of historical fiction, as well as historical non-fiction. I just recently finished reading The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank for the first time (loved it!), and it made me think about all of the great literature out there about WWII. I thought it would be fun to make a list of my favorite books from that era of history.
I don’t read nearly as many of them as I should, but I do love the classics. It has become apparent to me lately just how many of them I haven’t actually read, but that just makes my TBR even longer! Yay! I wanted to talk to y’all today about my favorite classics.
Hello my lovelies! I am officially back from my blogging hiatus. The past couple of months have been an absolute whirlwind, and ten times harder than I ever thought they would be. But, things are finally starting to stabilize, and I wanted to get back into my blogging routine!
So, the other day I saw two women, who I personally know and respect, talking about a book online. They both said that they thought the book was dumb and that they didn’t like the writing style. Now, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but here was the problem for me…I loved the book they were talking about. I enjoyed the writing style and thought that it had several great points.
