It’s official! I have decided to start a Book Blog! I am super excited to start this journey, as well as nervous and feeling, more than a little bit, like I don’t quite know what I’m doing. But, that is all part of the process, no?

I love to read. It is probably one of the only things that I know I do everyday, other than eating and sleeping. And I love to talk about what I’m reading. Unfortunately, my poor husband can only listen to me talk about books for so long before he starts to tune me out 😉

So, I figured, “Why not start a book blog? People on the internet love to talk about books. And they will listen to me, and talk with me by choice, rather than by necessity of being married to me!” I told myself that this was a wonderful idea, and thus Whit Reads Lit was born!

I plan to talk about books, that much is a given. But, I also plan to dive into the world of book subscription services, book festivals, author events, bookshelf tours, and anything else bookish that catches my fancy. I would love to have you along for the ride.
