WWW Wednesday: July 11, 2018

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words! All you have to do is answer the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

dragonflyinamberI’m not sure why it is taking me so long to get into Dragonfly in Amber. I’m hoping that once it jumps back into the past (because I’m pretty sure it will) it will pick up for me a bit.

undeadgirlgang

I started listening to Undead Girl Gang on audio yesterday. It is cute and funny so far, and I’ve heard really good things about it, so I have high hopes.

loveandgelato

I think Love & Gelato is definitely going to tickle that summer contemporary craving I’ve been having!

What did you recently finish reading?

homegoing

I finally read Homegoing! I listened to it on audio, and I really enjoyed how the narrator would switch back and forth between an African accent and an American Southern accent. The story was beautiful and moving. I can’t believe I waited so long to read this one, but I finally did! (5 Stars)

everythingisawful

I have always enjoyed Matt Bellassai’s videos from BuzzFeed, so I figured his book, Everything is Awful, would be equally entertaining. It was quite funny and ranty, just like his videos are, so it certainly lived up to my expectations. (3.5 Stars)

What do you think you’ll read next?

maryb

Mary B is my next NetGalley ARC that I need to get finished before it’s release date on the 24th. I’m a little worried about this one, as the average rating it has on Goodreads is really low. But, maybe it will surprise me!

myladyjane

I have heard so many people rave about My Lady Jane, and I am totally here for it!

Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? Let me know down in the comments!

Love and happy reading,

    1. I finally got to the part where it is in the 1700s, so I am flying through it now! I haven’t watched any of the series yet, because I was scared of spoilers. But, I’ve been told that each season only covers one book. Is that correct?

  1. I’m currently stuck in Voyager, which is book 3! I really need to finish it before November, when season 4 of Outlander comes out. I started reading Voyager with the 3rd season. It was kind of nice reading the chapters along with the episodes! Then life got crazy and I never finished. Lol
