WWW Wednesday: July 25, 2018

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words! All you have to do is answer the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

crashoverride

Crash Override is my book club book this month, and I am enjoying it more than I thought I would at this point. The thing I love most about my book club is that it makes me branch out and pick up books I would never have read otherwise 🙂

belgravia

Belgravia is my audiobook of the moment. I am a huge fan of Downton Abbey, and of this time in history, so I have pretty high expectations for this one.

dragonflyinamber

I am still slogging my way through Dragonfly in Amber. I am hoping it will grip me at some point to where I can’t put it down…but we aren’t there yet.

What did you recently finish reading?

theendlessbeach

I listened to The Endless Beach on audiobook. I love Jenny Colgan – her humor and characterization make me smile. I wasn’t as big of a fan of this book as I was of it’s predecessor. I found the choices some of the characters made to be frustrating. However, it was still great overall. Also, the audiobook narrator reeeealllly needs to work on her American accent haha (4 Stars)

myladyjane

I absolutely loved My Lady Jane!! I am a huge fan of Tudor history, and this was a part of that history that I wasn’t as familiar with, which was fun. Obviously, it strayed just a bit from the path of reality (insert heavy sarcasm here) – but it did it in such a delightful way ☺️ It kept me engaged and laughing all the way to the end! (5 Stars)

What do you think you’ll read next?

girlonline

I still plan on reading Girl Online after I am done with this month’s book club pick. I just need to throw a good, light contemporary in the mix.

theeyeopener

I will be reading and reviewing The Eye Opener soon. This is pretty far out of my box, but I was contacted by the author, and it definitely sounds intriguing, so I’m excited about this one!

Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? Let me know down in the comments!

Love and happy reading,
