WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words! All you have to do is answer the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I’m moving right along with Dragonfly in Amber! I am currently sitting at 55%!
I just started Truly Devious, which I am reading with my friend Jessica. So far I’m really enjoying it! It’s very atmospheric 🙂
The Phantom Tree is one of my NetGalley ARCs. It is being released next Tuesday, so be on the lookout for a review on Monday!
I’m listening to The Bookseller on audio right now. It is very interesting! The time travel aspect of it has the same feel as I got from The Time-Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished The Late Bloomers’ Club last week. It was a cute, contemporary chick lit that brings to mind the world of Gilmore Girls. You can read my review here. (3.5 Stars)
Jane Austen at Home was an excellent biography. I learned so many things that I didn’t know before, and Worsley’s writing was engaging, as well as informative. There were definitely some slower sections, as I was expecting, but also far fewer slow sections than I was expecting! If you are a Jane Austen fan, I highly recommend this one! (4.5 Stars)
The Hating Game has been popping up all over my Bookstagram feed, as well as here in the blogging world, so I figured it was time to give it a go. It was an absolutely delightful romance. It was incredibly funny, and the tension between the two romantic leads was perfect. If you are looking for a witty romance, this is the one for you! (5 Stars)
What do you think you’ll read next?
After reading My Lady Jane last month, I am ready to devour My Plain Jane next! I am a big fan of Jane Eyre, so I anticipate loving this book as well!
I’m not sure what to read after that…any suggestions? Here is a picture of some books on my TBR shelf:
Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? Let me know down in the comments!
Love and happy reading,
If you’re in the mood for contemporary, I’d pick up When Dimple Met Rishi because it has great Indian representation and Dimple is such a strong headed teenager 👌 if you’re in the mood for fantasy/ high fantasy I’d pick up the kiss of deception because I’m biased and it’s one of my favorite series, but Lia is a great main character and it has an awesome setting. Plus, thank you for Jane Austen at home, i will definitely tell my mom about it because she is a huge Jane Austen fan! 🤗🤗
