WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words! All you have to do is answer the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

houseofgold

I am still working my way through House of Gold. I think this is going to become my new Dragonfly in Amber…it might take me forever, but I’m going to finish it!

killersoftheflowermoon

I just started Killers of the Flower Moon on audio today. I love history and true crime, so I am loving this so far!

What did you recently finish reading?

wild

I just wrote a review for Wild on Monday. You should go check it out here. (4 Stars)

hocuspocus

I am a giant fan of the movie Hocus Pocus, so the first part of this book was pure nostalgia for me. The second part, which was a story from the present day with Max and Allison’s daughter, Poppy, as the protagonist was a cute, not-too-scary Halloween read. I enjoyed the tone of the story, which definitely was consistent with the tone of the movie.. I also enjoyed the references to the movie as well. It was cute, but not life changing. If you are a fan of the movie from the 90’s, you will get a big kick out of this book. (3.5 Stars)

whenbreathbecomesair

I listened to When Breath Becomes Air on audio as part of my effort to read more non-fiction. This book has gotten so much acclaim that I figured it would be well worth adding to my reading life. I know basically nothing about neuroscience, or really medicine in general, and this book didn’t leave me feeling lost and confused. It was easy to follow, and it was quite thought provoking. I enjoyed it quite a bit. (4 Stars)

escapingfromhoudini

I absolutely loved Stalking Jack the Ripper and Hunting Prince Dracula, so I had high hopes for Escaping from Houdini. I ended up really liking the book. I am always a fan of books set on ships (I’m a giant Titanic fan), so that aspect of the story was fascinating for me. I also enjoyed all of the historical references. I have to say, I was greatly annoyed by Audrey Rose in this book, which saddened me because I love her dearly. Other than that though, it was a fantastic book, and I cannot wait for the 4th book in the series! (4.5 Stars)

What do you think you’ll read next?

foolishhearts

I got my copy of Foolish Hearts from OwlCrate, and I have yet to read it. Well, the time is now!!

Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? What are you currently reading? Let me know down in the comments!

Love and happy reading,
