I have loved every Sarah J. Maas book that I have read, but I’ve been nervous to start this series, simply because of its size.

Cleaning out the closet: a book and/or book series you want to unhaul

Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer

I have struggled to have the desire to continue this series. I know many people love this series, but I am thinking that I might just unhaul it.

Opening windows and letting fresh air in: a book that was refreshing

The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood

This was such a great romance! You don’t see a lot of romance novels where women are in STEM jobs, so I found this very refreshing.

Washing out sheet stains: a book you wish you could rewrite a certain scene in

They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

I won’t say which scene I wish I could rewrite, because spoilers, but suffice it to say that this book got a much lower rating from me because of it.

Throwing out unnecessary knick-knacks: a book in a series that you didn’t feel was necessary

A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas

So, I actually don’t have a problem with this book, but I will say that it was not strictly necessary to the series.

Polishing the doorknobs: a book that had a clean finish

The Downstairs Girl by Stacey Lee

This book was lovely from top to bottom. I am so glad that it is finally getting the recognition that it deserves.

Reaching to dust the fan: a book that tried too hard to relay a certain message

Scythe by Neal Shusterman

This book felt very heavy handed to me. It has made me less than enthused to continue the series.

The tiring yet satisfying finish of spring cleaning: a book series that was tiring yet satisfying to get through

Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon

I have not actually finished this series yet, but each book is certainly tiring yet satisfying to get through.
