What is the last book adaptation movie you saw?

The movie was so so good!! I loved it, and I think you need to go watch it right now if you haven’t seen it yet!

What book movie are you most excited about?

Red, White & Royal Blue

I absolutely loved this book! It sparked my love of Casey McQuiston, who is now one of my auto-buy authors. I can’t wait to see what they did with this wonderful novel 🙂

Which upcoming book movie will you definitely not see?

Dune

I have no desire to watch any of the Dune adaptations. It is just not my cup of tea.

Which book movie would you never watch again?

I wasn’t a huge fan of the movie adaptation of Paper Towns. It was just okay, but then, I also thought the book was just okay.

I would like to say the Twilight movies, but I could see myself watching them again if only to laugh at them.

Is there a movie you saw that made you want to read the book if you had not yet?

Nimona

I loved the movie so much, and I have never read the book! It is definitely on the top of my TBR now.

Conversely, is there a movie that made you never want to read the book?

The Da Vinci Code

I thought it was a fine movie, but I was never interested in picking up the books. I didn’t really see what else the books could have possibly offered that the movies didn’t cover. Plus, I’m not a huge adventure novel fan.

Do you prefer to watch the movie first, or read the book first?

I generally like to read the book first when I can, but I am not opposed to watching the movie first.

Is there a movie you liked better than its book?

Howl’s Moving Castle

I absolutely loved the movie, but I found the book just okay. (I know this breaks my husband’s heart, and I’m sorry). It was good, but the movie was better.

Name a book you would love to see as a movie.

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson

I feel like this series would make an amazing movie, or tv show. It has a fun mystery, a modern and historical timeline, and teens living at a boarding school.

I feel like it is cinema gold!
