Yearly Wrap-Up: 2021

2021, as a whole, was actually a pretty normal year for us. Aside from continued COVID precautions, getting vaccinated, getting started promoting my wedding music business again, traveling back to Nashville for a vacation, having a crazy blizzard at the beginning of the year, starting my monthly tea parties again, and reading more than I ever have before. Huh. I guess it was more eventful than I thought 😉

Monthly Wrap-Up: January 2021

Hello everyone! It’s the beginning of a new year, and so I have new goals! This month, I have read 15 books!! That is crazy, even for me, but it is the pace I actually intend to keep up. I have set myself with a goal of reading 150 books this year. I have met and exceeded my goal of 100 for a few years now, so I thought aiming for 150 would be an actual challenge for me.

I always enjoy seeing a round-up of people’s mini reviews, as well as their bookish photos of each book. So, I present you with my mini-reviews from my Instagram for the first half of the month!

I have had such a great reading month so far! It is kind of crazy to me that I have already read 8 books this month! Also, I have had three 5 star reviews, which is also very out of the ordinary for me. Let’s hope the second half of the month is just as good!

Best friend to Leo and Connie…although ever since the B.E.I. (Big Embarrassing Incident) with Leo, things have been awkward on that front.

But she didn’t know she’s a younger sister.

Top Ten Tuesday: Most Anticipated Releases for 2021

I decided that this year I would like to try my hand at participating in Top Ten Tuesday, a meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

The End of the Year Book Tag

I found this tag through Priyasha @ Books and Co. If you aren’t following her, head over there now and check out her lovely blog! I thought this would be a fun tag to do for the end of the year. It is always fun to look back over the books you have read in the year.
