WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words! All you have to do is answer the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
Children of Blood and Bone is my book club’s pick for this month, and I just started it. I’ve heard so many amazing things about this book, so I’m excited to dig in!
I wanted to add in a fun, easy read, so The Little Perfume Shop off the Champs-Élysées seemed like a good pick!
What did you recently finish reading?
Of the three books in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series, P.S. I Still Love You was my favorite. I will go more into detail about it in the triple mini review post that I will write up soon. (5 Stars)
I actually liked Always and Forever, Lara Jean the least of all in the series. Again, I’ll get more into this in my review post. I still liked it though! (4 Stars)
Station Eleven was a really interesting book. I appreciated the narrative structure of weaving in and out between the distant past, the not so distant past, and the present day. It made for a feeling of discovery all throughout the book, which kept me engaged and wanting to find out more. I did find the sections from the distant past to be a little bit slow, and wishing for them to get back to the interesting parts of the story, but I also realize that they were necessary for the furthering of the plot. Overall, I found this to be an awesome read! This is great for people who love YA dystopian novels and are looking to graduate to adult literature. (4.5 Stars)
What do you think you’ll read next?
I have had the ARC for Ash Princess sitting on my shelf for a long time. I am going to read this one next because Laura Sebastian is going to be at the Southern Festival of Books in a few weeks, and I want to read it before I go to her panel 🙂
I want to read Bookish Boyfriends: A Date with Darcy next for the same reason as Ash Princess. Tiffany Schmidt is going to be at the Southern Festival of Books this year too.
Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? What are you currently reading? Let me know down in the comments!
Love and happy reading,
Hope you enjoy Children of Blood and Bone… 🙂 🙂 And I look forward to your review of Station Eleven.. It’s in my TBR…
