Things I Posted:

Monthly Wrap-Up: March 2020 ~ I Have 500 Followers! Thank You! (+ A Giveaway!!) ~ Books That Deserve More Attention ~ Books I Love That Have Under 2000 Ratings On Goodreads

I read a ton this month, but didn’t post as often as I meant to. This might be a new trend, because of something I’m going to announce in the next section…

Getting Personal:

This month has been interesting, difficult, and actually kind of nice. In a way, it has been nice to be forced to slow down. To not feel like I have to constantly be on the go. To feel like I have time to really see and be with my family. To pursue the things that give me joy. At the same time, I am definitely starting to go a little stir crazy, and I can feel my fuse getting shorter and shorter.

In really exciting news, I was accepted into graduate school to get my Masters in Library and Information Science!! I actually start classes on Tuesday 😳

I’m a little bit worried that I will have a hard time balancing classes and being a stay-at-home mom. Hopefully my husband and I can find a good balance of responsibilities.

Also, because I am starting school so much sooner than I thought I would, it will mean that things will look a little different here on the blog. I won’t be posting as much (not that I’m posting a ton now!), and I probably won’t be able to get as much reading done each month. This is the main thing I am already mourning haha

Apart from that, there really isn’t a lot going on in our world. Quarantining is going to look a little different soon, so we will see what May has in store.

My May TBR Pile:

TBRMay2020

Winter of Fire by Sherryl Jordan (re-read!)

Ember Queen by Laura Sebastian

Love & Luck by Jenna Evans Welch

Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert

I’m not sure how much time I will have for pleasure reading this month, with me starting grad school. But, here is my hopeful lineup!

How many books did you read this month? Have you read any of the books I read? Are you participating in any reading challenges? What about the books on my TBR for May? Let me know down in the comments!

Love and happy reading,

  1. Wow, 13 books, that is such an amazing amount of books! Out of these books I read The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli and really enjoyed it! My main priority book of May is The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel. I hope your May is awesome!

    1. Yeah, I really wasn’t expecting to read so many! I’m pretty sure May is going to look very different for me.
I’ve been very curious about The Glass Hotel. I look forward to hearing what you think!
