Getting Personal:
For some reason January has felt like it has lasted ten million years! Has anyone else felt this way? I don’t feel like I did a terrible lot this month, but here are a few highlights:
- I was able to stick to the majority of the habits I added to my habit tracker. The one I’m most proud of is not having soda at all this month! I had gotten into a really bad habit of drinking soda almost everyday last year, which is just not healthy for me.
- We are getting me a new car! It is going to be here in a couple of weeks. My husband envisions this being my car for the next 15 years or so, so hopefully I like it 😉
- I made a big medical decision, and I will be having surgery at the beginning of March. It took up a lot of my brain space this month, which is why I am mentioning it here.
- We found a church that we are interested in, finally! I am hoping that we can start getting connected there and maybe make some new friends.
My February TBR Pile:

Full Flight by Ashley Schumacher
The Tiger’s Wife by Téa Obreht
A Lullaby for Witches by Hester Fox (REVIEW)
The Rumor Game by Dhonielle Clayton and Sona Charaipotra
House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas
Three of these books are ARCs that I received from NetGalley (one of which I have already read by the time I got around to posting this wrap-up haha). One of them is for a reading challenge prompt, and one is just because it is coming out this month and I’m excited about it!
How many books did you read this month? Have you read any of the books I read? Are you participating in any reading challenges? What about the books on my TBR for February? Let me know down in the comments!
Love and happy reading,
Whitney
