August was a month of lots of reading (13 books again), and also a lot of stress and reflection. Thank you so much to everyone who had such kind words to say when I announced my short hiatus a couple of weeks back. I have been blown away by how supportive this little corner of the internet is 🙂
Now, let’s get into it!!

If you couldn’t tell from my post on Friday, I’ve been feeling a lot a little bit of pressure lately. I have a lot going on in my life, and I have been incredibly stressed out as of late. While I absolutely love blogging, at the moment it is causing more stress than escape, and that is never a good thing when it comes to your hobbies.
I’ve decided to take the week off from posting. As of right now it will just be for this week, but I reserve the right to extend that break if I need to. 😉

I have had something on my mind for a few months, and I decided to write up a discussion post. Since I have begun blogging, I have felt the need to read extremely quickly.
Now, I am generally a pretty fast reader as it is. It is not unusual of me to finish a book within one or two days time. However, since I started blogging, I feel like I just can’t keep up with how much other bloggers read. I almost feel like I will be judged if I read too slowly.
