I love a good re-telling! I have read so many great re-tellings of an old favorite, and sometimes they become a new favorite. Everything from Jane Austen to Shakespeare to Charlotte Bronte to classic fairy tales, I have found so many great re-tellings and I want to tell you about some of my favorites!
This month I read a total of 16 books! I have been on fire these past two months, and I’m hoping this will continue to be the trend. I’m a little worried that I’m going to burn myself out, but I guess that’s future me’s problem 😂
While I am aiming for 150, I am also aiming to diversify my reading. I am trying to break into genres I don’t typically gravitate toward. I am hoping to read more non-fiction and classics. And, as always, I am taking part in several reading challenges.

I decided that this year I would like to try my hand at participating in Top Ten Tuesday, a meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I only recently discovered the amazing-ness that is A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. I had put off reading this series for years because I had heard such mixed opinions about it. Also, I tend to be a bit wary of over-hyped books. What I found out is that this series deserves every bit of hype it gets! I absolutely DEVOURED this series!
