Monthly Wrap-Up: February 2021

This month I read a total of 16 books! I have been on fire these past two months, and I’m hoping this will continue to be the trend. I’m a little worried that I’m going to burn myself out, but I guess that’s future me’s problem 😂

While I am aiming for 150, I am also aiming to diversify my reading. I am trying to break into genres I don’t typically gravitate toward. I am hoping to read more non-fiction and classics. And, as always, I am taking part in several reading challenges.

Book Review: The Paris Library ~ Fantastic Audiobooks For You to Read

Getting Personal:

This month was very interesting. Strangely, it was interesting because I barely left my house! The first two weeks of the month we were under quarantine because my daughter was exposed to someone at school with COVID. We did not end up getting sick, so that was a huge blessing.

Right on the tail end of that we were hit with the terrible winter storm! Our power was off for about five straight days and the temperatures were in the 10’s. Thankfully my parents lived in an area where they did not lose power or water, so we were able to go and stay with them.

I was able to get my first COVID vaccine shot! My husband is still on the waiting list, but we are hopeful he will get his appointment soon. Then, to end off the month, my daughter turned 4!! It is so crazy to think that she has been with us for almost two years already!! ❤️

My March TBR Pile:

Chain of Iron by Cassandra Clare

Namesake by Adrienne Young

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

These Dark Wings by John Owen Theobald

Perfect on Paper by Sophie Gonzales

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

How many books did you read this month? Have you read any of the books I read? Are you participating in any reading challenges? What about the books on my TBR for March? Let me know down in the comments!

Interested in my monthly wrap-up for January? Check it out here!

Love and happy reading,

Whitney
