This month I read a total of 16 books! I have been on fire these past two months, and I’m hoping this will continue to be the trend. I’m a little worried that I’m going to burn myself out, but I guess that’s future me’s problem 😂
While I am aiming for 150, I am also aiming to diversify my reading. I am trying to break into genres I don’t typically gravitate toward. I am hoping to read more non-fiction and classics. And, as always, I am taking part in several reading challenges.
I decided that this year I would like to try my hand at participating in Top Ten Tuesday, a meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. Did you do it? Great! I was excited for this tag because it is decidedly Christmas-y and cozy and I am here for it. Here are the rules for the tag!
I have seen a ton of Booktube channels doing the Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag, and it made me want to give it a go!
I realize we are a bit past “mid-year” by now, but I was kind of on an unofficial hiatus when “mid-year” hit, so I am doing it now! This seemed like such a fun way to talk about the books I have read so far this year, especially since there were a few months where I didn’t post anything here. There are so many awesome sounding books that are coming out this year! I wanted to make a list of the ones that I am the most excited about. There are a lot more for the beginning of the year because the second half of the year will likely be announced later. I hope you find some new books you are excited about too!
