This month I read a total of 7 books! I am at 40 books read so far, so I am still on track to hit my goal of 100 books for the year. I am, once again, doing a ton of different reading challenges, so I will be including those in my monthly wrap-ups as well.

I’m posting this a little bit late this month, but better late than never, right? This month I read a total of 10 books! I made my yearly goal smaller this year, so I am definitely on track to hit my goal of 100 books for the year. I have been seeing this tag all over the blog-o-verse, as well as on BookTube, and it seemed like so much fun! I have read a total of 83 books in the first half of the year. I thought this would be a fun way to take stock of what I have read so far and evaluate what I want to read for the second half of the year. Here we go!
This month I read a total of 16 books! I have been on fire these past two months, and I’m hoping this will continue to be the trend. I’m a little worried that I’m going to burn myself out, but I guess that’s future me’s problem 😂
While I am aiming for 150, I am also aiming to diversify my reading. I am trying to break into genres I don’t typically gravitate toward. I am hoping to read more non-fiction and classics. And, as always, I am taking part in several reading challenges.

I decided that this year I would like to try my hand at participating in Top Ten Tuesday, a meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week the topic is the books you meant to read in 2020, but you didn’t get to, for whatever reason. I have a ton of books that I fully intended to get to last year, but for one reason or another never did. Here are the ten that are sitting on my library cart right now (as I fully intend to try to get to them first this year!):
There are so many awesome sounding books that are coming out this year! I wanted to make a list of the ones that I am the most excited about.
