WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words! All you have to do is answer the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
Stuck in Manistique is my current e-ARC from NetGalley. I am enjoying this one way more than my last NetGalley ARC so far, so that is a great sign! It isn’t my usual genre, so I’m curious to see where this one will end up.
The Whole-Brain Child has been recommend to me by various sources as a great resource for our adoption journey. I’m at the very beginning, but it seems to be easy to follow so far, which is a huge plus.
What did you recently finish reading?
I just posted a review for Foolish Hearts on Monday. You can check it out here! (5 Stars)
I really enjoyed The Little Paris Bookshop! It was not exactly what I was expecting it to be, but it was still a good read. I thought that Monsieur Perdu’s journey, both physical and emotional, was well crafted and believable. I found the cast of characters that surrounded him to be great fun and the descriptions of the French countryside to induce wanderlust. It also had several highly quotable things to say about books and reading, which is always a huge plus in my book. (4 Stars)
What do you think you’ll read next?
I have had My Plain Jane on my TBR for soooo long, and I think it is high time that it be next on my list!
*I wanted to inform you that I recently decided to DNF a book…House of Gold. Is anyone surprised? I was just having to push myself so hard to get through it, and there are way too many good books out there waiting to be read to waste my time on one that I don’t enjoy. I believe I made it to about 18%… So, since I was keeping you apprised of my progress, I thought it only fair to let you know that I will not be finishing it. Thank you and goodnight!!*
Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them?
At what point do you decide to give up and DNF a book?
What are you currently reading? Let me know down in the comments!
Love and happy reading,
