WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words! All you have to do is answer the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I have started on The Night Circus, which is our book club pick for December. I am enjoying it so far, but I’m only about 30 pages in.
Still working on The Whole-Brain Child. I’m hoping to make some progress on this one while I have a break from work.
I started reading The Accidentals the other day, and it is really cute so far. Any YA novel about music is usually right up my alley.
What did you recently finish reading?
I just posted my review for After the Rain on Monday. You can read it here. (4 Stars)
I have been intending to read The Devil in the White City for years, and I finally got around to it. I was expecting it to be mostly about Holmes and his reign of terror during the Chicago World’s Fair. It ended up being half about him, and half about the process of designing and building the World’s Fair itself. This actually ended up being a lot more interesting than it seemed like it would be at the beginning. I learned a lot, and would certainly recommend this to anyone who enjoys history with a little bit of color commentary. (4 Stars)
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m not totally sure…I don’t anticipate starting any other books before January. I’m going to try to get all three of my current books finished, or close to it. After that, I am going to be participating in the Devour Your TBR January Challenge of using a TBR Jar. So, we’ll see!
Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? What are you currently reading? Let me know down in the comments!
Love and happy reading,
Hope you’re enjoying The Night Circus. 🙂 I’m not much of a fantasy fan, but I thought the story and writing style was very enjoyable!
