WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words! All you have to do is answer the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

timesconvert

I am making my way through Time’s Convert. I have been weirdly hesitant to really dive into this one, and I think that it is because I know that it is going to consume my life when I do haha

thewholebrainchild

Still chugging away at The Whole-Brain Child.

bravingthewilderness

I just started listening to the audiobook for Braving the Wilderness today. I’m enjoying it so far.

What did you recently finish reading?

mynameisleon

I enjoyed My Name is Leon, but it was also a bit of a harder read for me. I thought that the overall story was good, and had a great arc, but some of the writing for me was a bit lacking. I do wonder if my enjoyment of the book was diminished because I listened to the audiobook, and I wasn’t a huge fan of the narrator. But, I did enjoy how the author got into the brain space of a 10 year old boy in foster care so well. It was heartbreaking and well-done. (3.5 Stars)

thelibrarianofauschwitz

The Librarian of Auschwitz was a fantastic book. I had no idea until I started listening to it that it was a book in translation, which was a fun surprise. I also didn’t realize that it was based on a true story. I am always keen to learn more true stories from this era of history. I enjoyed the story, even the parts that were hard to listen to because of the subject matter. There were parts of the book that dragged along just a tad, but because I was listening to it they seemed to pass by quickly enough. Also speaking of the audiobook, I had a bit of a hard time when the narrator used her German accent. It made some of the dialogue a little difficult for me to understand. Overall though, this was a beautifully written book, and I was quite moved. (4.5 Stars)

accidentallyperfect

I was reading Accidentally Perfect as a palate cleanser after some heavier books, and I ended up reading it in one day! It was such a great little contemporary romance. It had some highly unbelievable bits, but that was part of what made this book an escape for me. Also, the main characters made some really stupid choices, which was somewhat frustrating, but not enough for me to want to stop reading! 😉 This was a great read if you want some romance with a bit of an edge to it. (4 Stars)

What do you think you’ll read next?

daughterofmolokai

Daughter of Moloka’i is my next NetGalley book that I need to get to. I’m hoping to start it in the next few days.

Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? What are you currently reading? Let me know down in the comments!

Love and happy reading,
