Getting Personal:
January was a pretty busy month for me, and it certainly feels like it has just flown by! The month started off a little bit slow, but then it picked up a few days after New Years. I decided to start volunteering with the youth group at my church. I went to my first meeting of a local adoptive mom’s group that I am hoping will help me feel more at ease with some of the harder parts of the adoption process. I had my monthly tea party and I helped my friend Lori move into her new house!
I went to a book signing for Tamera Alexander’s new book, With This Pledge (which I just started reading yesterday!). She is so sweet, and I am excited to get to do a blog collaboration with her soon!
My February TBR Pile:
Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis
The Shadowhunter’s Codex by Cassandra Clare
Pride by Ibi Zoboi
Twenty Things Adopted Kids Wish Their Adoptive Parents Knew by Sherrie Eldridge
If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo
Daughter of Moloka’i by Alan Brennert
I got a couple of the books from my January TBR pile read this month, so I am just spilling over the ones I didn’t read into February. I am also going to try to start having a parenting book in the rotation each month.
How many books did you read this month? Have you read any of the books I read? What about the books on my TBR for February? Let me know down in the comments!
Love and happy reading,
I have got to read The Night Circus … I’m so behind!
Also, I am so glad you loved From Lukov with Love, I really enjoyed that one, too. I can’t remember, did you listen to the audiobook? It was really good because it was a duet narration.

It was so good! And it took me forever to read it too, so no shame!
Yes! It was so good! I actually read it in e-book format, but now I’m wishing I had listened to it

Sounds like you had a great reading month!! I enjoyed the Night Circus but I made the mistake of listening to it on audiobook. It was a bit hard to follow the time jumps. I hope you enjoy Pride! I really liked it ❤

I’ve heard that the audio for that one isn’t the best way to go. I hope I enjoy Pride too!
