Things I Posted:
The Currently Reading Book Tag ~ An Ode to A Court of Thorns and Roses
I didn’t post as much this month. I’m hoping that will change in March.
Getting Personal:
My month started off with getting my daughter set up in a great pre-school that focuses on hearing, language and speech development. Since she is still learning English and has hearing impairment, this seems like a great fit! She started a few days ago and, apart from nap time, she is doing really well 🙂
Also, speaking of my daughter, she turned 3 this month!! We had a small party for her, and my parents were able to come up since she and my mom share the same birthday! It was intimate and perfect.
We had quite a few doctors appointments this month, in preparation for school and since my daughter had her birthday. I had a couple of close friends give birth to precious little ones. My daughter finished out her therapies in preparation for pre-school.
On a really sad note, we had to say goodbye to one of our dogs this month. Chimi, who was our first baby, either had cancer or fungal pneumonia. We will never know for sure because it was going to cost thousands of dollars to find out, which we just don’t have. She was 6 – we thought we had so much more time. I was absolutely devastated. I’m still really sad, but I know that we made the right decision. We didn’t want her to suffer. I miss her so much. She was the sweetest, best little dog ever. ❤️
My March TBR Pile:
When You Were Everything by Ashley Woodfolk
Code Name Helene by Ariel Lawhon
An American Marriage by Tayari Jones
Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare
Both When You Were Everything and Code Name Helene are ARCs I got through NetGalley that are being released in March. Chain of Gold is coming out on March 3rd, and I’m going to get it immediately! An American Marriage is my book club’s pick for March.
How many books did you read this month? Have you read any of the books I read? Are you participating in any reading challenges? What about the books on my TBR for March? Let me know down in the comments!
