Things I Posted:

My posting frequency also took a hit this month. I have been so distracted with adoption related things and traveling that I just didn’t post as often. This might be a trend for a while, but I’m hoping to get back to a somewhat regular schedule soon.

Getting Personal:

April was a good and very busy month! I didn’t get a ton of reading done, but I did a lot of fun things. It started off with my husband and me going on our anniversary trip (6 years!) to Florida! We spent the first two days at Harry Potter World, which I had never been to, and it was so much fun!! Then we spent the rest of the week at the beach. It was our last adults-only vacation before the adoption, which is apparently called a “babymoon” now 🙂

We went to our town’s festival that they throw every spring, the Buttercup Festival. It was super cute and I can’t wait to take our little one there next year! I had my last tea party for the foreseeable future, which was lovely and bittersweet. And then the last weekend of the month was spent at a friend’s wedding. I was a bridesmaid and I sang during the ceremony and it was lovely all around 🙂

My May TBR Pile:

TBRMay2019

The Vanishing Stair by Maureen Johnson

Cozy Minimalist Home by Myquillyn Smith

In on It: What Adoptive Parents Would Like You to Know About Adoption by Elisabeth O’Toole

Persuasion by Jane Austen

How many books did you read this month? Have you read any of the books I read? What about the books on my TBR for May? Let me know down in the comments!

Love and happy reading,

    1. It was so good! I can’t wait to read her next one now. Harry Potter World was so much fun! I’m so glad I finally got to go. And Persuasion is one of my favorite Austen novels as well ☺️
