Monthly Wrap-Up: June

It’s time for another monthly wrap-up! I know I’m a little bit late to the game on this one. I totally wasn’t thinking last week, and didn’t do this one last Friday like I intended. So, I’m talking about June at the end of the first week of July!

I read eleven books in June!! That was a huge step up from my May total of eight!

Books I Read:

So, yeah, I read 11 books! I read one e-book, three NetGalley ARCs, four audio books, and three physical books. I read some really great things this month. I made it through all of my NetGalley ARCs, and I feel much better about the few I still have left on there now! Overall, the lowest rating I had this month was 3.5 Stars, same as last month. Not too shabby!

Monthly Wrap-Up: May ~ My Most Controversial Ratings ~ May Subscription Box: OwlCrate ~ 10 Highest Rated Books On My TBR

This month, I posted the most I have posted since I started blogging! A large part of that was from participating in Harry Potter Anniversary Week, which was so much fun!! I am still considering adding another day to my posting schedule. It now seems much more possible than it did before.

Getting Personal:

This month was actually pretty slow and relatively uneventful for me. I did start my new job at the flower shop. I’m mostly doing deliveries and taking orders on the phone, but I recently started trying my hand at arranging. I’m terrible, but I hopefully will get better soon!

Other than working, I mainly just had a lot of hangouts with various friends of mine: movies, dinners, karaoke/trivia nights, pool time, and whatnot. I also had my monthly tea party. This one was bittersweet, as it was the last one that a friend of mine will get to come to. She is moving to another state to pursue her acting career – I’m so pumped for her, but I will miss her!

My July TBR Pile:

Physical Books:

Love and Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson

My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows

Crash Override by Zoe Quinn

E-Books:

Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon

NetGalley ARCs:

Mary B: A Novel by Katherine J. Chen

I am excited to get to some books that I have been wanting to read for a while. I am going to finish Dragonfly in Amber this month! I have been trying to get to this book for months, and I’m going to make it happen. I’ve wanted to read My Lady Jane and Truly Devious for quite a while. I am going to attempt to buddy read Truly Devious with a friend of mine, if we can get our schedules to align. Crash Override is my book club book for this month.

How many books did you read this month? Have you read any of the books I read? What about the books on my TBR for July? Let me know down in the comments!

Love and happy reading,

    1. I liked Leah a whole lot! I liked Simon better, but Leah was fun in a different way.
I haven’t watched the Outlander series yet! I really need to get going on it! Is it one season per book? I just don’t want any spoilers
